Synopsis
The prolonged low interest rate environment has prompted many institutional investors to search for higher yielding alternative investment options.
In addition, the length of the current economic and real estate cycles suggests a cautionary investment environment and commercial mortgage investments can provide attractive returns on a relative basis to other fixed income investments while offering a defensive risk profile to real estate equity alternatives.
The TH Real Estate Workshop 2017 will explore several types of CRE debt investment strategies available to institutional investors, the lending environment in the UK and the U.S, and look at the relative attractiveness of CRE debt returns as compared to alternative fixed income and equity investments.
