Synopsis
2017 is expected to be a year of transition from a macroeconomic perspective as we move out of the triple low environment – from low interest rates, low growth and low inflation to a rise in interest rates, increased growth and higher inflation expectations. Institutional investors are taking stock of the real estate market, reviewing the effect of this transition on both public and private real estate debt and equity markets and the subsequent impact on their allocations.
The AXA Investment Managers - Real Assets Workshop 2017 will present investment opportunities across real assets, discussing the outlook for different asset classes and challenges that investors face in building property allocations while trying to achieve investment performance.
It will discuss how institutional investors can implement and monitor their allocation to real assets over the current course in the real estate cycle, reviewing the real estate debt and equity in both the listed and private markets.
