IPE Young Professionals Roundtable

Following a successful launch at the IPE Conference & Awards 2023, IPE and IPE Real Assets is pleased to hold its second roundtable dedicated to promoting future institutional investment and pensions leaders up to age 40. This session is an opportunity for young industry specialists from the investment community across Europe to exchange ideas on a range of topics, including how a younger perspective provides a diversity of thought and encourages long-termism, why our industry particularly suits younger people and how some of today’s most pressing challenges, including the climate and biodiversity emergencies are calling out for new thinking. If you are eligible and would like hear more, contact Jakub Janas at jakub.janas@ipe.com to learn more about this roundtable.

Please note that this is not a standalone session and you will be required to attend the IPE Real Estate Global Conference & Awards to qualify.

Presentation

Amid high-interest rates, valuation pressures and uncertainty in office markets, investors face challenges in their existing portfolios. If they can allocate new capital, where should they look to deploy: in equity or debt; private or public; core, value-add or opportunistic?

Presentation

This year could be a good vintage for investors with capital to deploy, but the outlook varies across geographies and sectors. Investors also need to understand emerging opportunities around social impact strategies and asset classes that cut across real estate and infrastructure.
