Kat Usita is Deputy Head of Research at OMFIF, working on the organisation’s research and analysis on a wide range of subjects relevant to central banks, sovereign funds and public pension funds. Her specialist research interests include infrastructure investment and gender diversity in public investment institutions. Previously, she was part of the Philippine civil service, monitoring the development of airports, railways and other infrastructure projects under the Department of Transportation. She also worked in Philippine politics, handling research for a national electoral campaign. She completed the Master of Public Policy at the Blavatnik School of Government of the University of Oxford.
