Programme
Institutional investors are dealing with a set of long-term risks that are becoming harder to push to the margins. Climate change, nature loss, social pressures and regulatory shifts are showing up in portfolios and requiring investors to re-examine what strength and resilience really looks like in an institutional portfolio.
The Impact Investor Forum brings together investors and practitioners to explore how impact investing is being used in response to these challenges. Through keynote perspectives and focused discussions, market practitioners will consider the ways that impact investing can support more robust portfolios. Whether it is addressing systemic risks, adopting a longer-term lens or the practical ways that investors are moving into implementation of key thematic sectors, there are many ways that investors can build a robust approach.
With a focus on real-world experience, the programme will examine how investors are embedding impact into their portfolios across themes including healthcare, housing and climate mitigation.

| 3:00 PM - 3:40 PM | Institutional investors are facing a growing set of risks that don’t fit neatly into traditional risk models, whether it is climate shocks, social pressures, nature loss, regulatory developments or more. These challenges raise questions about fiduciary duty and how long-term capital should respond. In this session, panellists will share ideas about how they are using impact investing to grapple with systemic risk, strengthen portfolio resilience and balance financial returns with real-world outcomes. How are impact considerations influencing asset allocation, governance and investment decision-making, and how can investors think about impact over the longer-term? | 4:00 PM - 4:40 PM | Pension funds are adopting and implementing impact into their portfolios in different ways. This session will focus on how investors are thinking thematically about healthcare, housing and climate mitigation, and what this means in practice. Panellists will offer up case studies on their approaches, discuss the rationale behind these thematic allocations, and discuss the ways that they are engaging with their communities and delivering measurable outcomes. The session will provide a practical examination of how thematic impact strategies are developed, managed and assessed over time. Practitioners will offer insights into the opportunities, challenges and lessons learnt by deploying impact capital across these three key sectors.
