Vanessa Sloan is a Partner of Veras Advisors. She has over two decades of professional experience specialising in the private real estate and real assets investment sectors, with more than a decade of experience in sustainability (ESG/RI) program leadership. She has delivered global institutional client portfolio management, strategy, and investment solutions, including overseeing more than 5$b in commitments and global institutional advising investors with over 100$b in allocations. Sloan has held senior management roles in prominent investor and manager organisations, including StepStone Group, Townsend Group, National Pension Service (NPS) for South Korea, Deutsche Finance Group and Patron Capital. She places importance on fostering trusted relationships across investor and manager ecosystems, in order to align capital demand with cross-regional and cross-sector investment opportunities, leveraging expertise in tailored solutions across diverse risk profiles, investment structures, sustainability and tech-enablement. She holds a Master’s degree in Civil & Environmental Engineering from the University of Edinburgh and a Master’s in Finance from Henley Business School, University of Reading.
