Piet Eichholtz

Piet Eichholtz teaches courses in finance, real estate finance and investments at Maastricht University, where he was chairman of the Finance Department between 2005 and 2014. Most of his work regards real estate markets, with a focus on international investment, portfolio management, property companies, and housing markets. Eichholtz has also done extensive research on the economic performance of sustainable properties, the long-run behaviour of real estate markets and demographics. He has also provided extensive services to public society, mainly through board memberships of industry organisations in the property sector, such as EPRA, and consulted with various government bodies in different countries. His practical experience includes positions at ABP and NIB Capital, and non-executive and advisory board memberships at NSI, Oppenheim, Redevco, and IPD.
