Laurens-Jan Sipma is Senior Portfolio Manager in APG’s European infrastructure private equity team, located in Amsterdam. He is an experienced private equity professional having successfully led, structured and closed various full-fledge buyside processes, with a focus on telecom infrastructure. Most recently he has led the deal team on the Dutch KPN FTTH JV transaction, which comprises the rollout to 900k homes and business across the Netherlands. In addition, he holds three non-executive board positions at Open Tower Company, the leading telecom tower company in the Netherlands), TDF, the leading telecom tower and broadcasting infrastructure operator in France, and Itinere, Spain’s second largest private toll road operator.
