Ted Frith is Chief Operating Officer at GLIL Infrastructure, which he joined in November 2018. He is a member of the executive committee and is responsible for the day-to-day management of the firm. Frith’s career spans 30 years in investment banking and asset management and he has a track record of building and developing a number of successful businesses. The first half of his career was in debt capital markets where he held increasingly senior roles in the foreign exchange and interest rate markets, including Orion Royal Bank, Midland Montagu, Citibank and Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein (DrKW). His last role was as Managing Director and Head of Global Sales and Marketing Strategy for investment banking at DrKW. He left investment banking in 2005 and embarked on a new career in asset management. He spent eight years at Aspect Capital. More recently, Ted has run a third party marketing business as well as acting as a consultant and NED for a number of companies. Frith graduated from Oxford University in 1987 after studying Chemistry with Quantum Mechanics.
