ESG Director, HSBC Pollination Climate Asset Management
Oliver Johnson leads on ESG for Pollination and its investment platforms. His most recent role prior to Pollination was at ARCH Emerging Market (EM) Partners where he was responsible for ESG aspects across the group and funds under advisory. He set up the ESG framework at group level and rolled this out across the various functions and activities under the group, principally via the investment platforms. Prior to this he worked at eleQtra in London where he was Technical & ESG Director with overall responsibility for eleQtra’s development portfolio including renewable energy, transport and agribusiness projects. Johnson has also held positions at Dar Group, EIB and CDP amongst others and has relevant experience in many countries in Africa, Middle East and Europe. He holds a MSc Sustainability from University of Leeds and a BA Business Administration/Licence Science de Gestion from University of Kent/Université Jean Moulin III, France.
