Gunnar Baldvinsson is Chief Executive Officer at Almenni Pension Fund. He was also on the board of the Icelandic Pension Funds Association from 2006 to 2015, where he was Chairman from 2012 to 2015. Baldvinsson led a government appointed committee appointed in 2017 to discuss the role of pension funds in the Icelandic economy. He has written six books on personal finance. He holds a degree in economics from the University of Iceland and an MBA from the University of Rochester.
