Simone Miotto is Executive Director at AEIP, the European Association of Paritarian Institutions of Social Protection. AEIP is based in Brussels and is an advocacy organisation representing Social Protection Institutions established and managed by employers and trade unions on a joint basis within the framework of collective agreements. Miotto also holds a position on the board of the ETS (European Tracking Service) Association. He previously worked as a Policy and Project Adviser in the Brussels office of an Italian regional Authority. Between 2019 and 2020 Miotto acted as a member of the expert practitioner panel on Pan-European Personal Pension Product (PEPP) at EIOPA (European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority). He was previously a Senior Policy Adviser at PensionsEurope, where he played a crucial role in shaping pension policies and advocating for effective solutions. Miotto has previous experience that has equipped him with extensive knowledge and insights into various aspects of social protection and financial affairs. He holds a master's degree in Law from an esteemed institution in Italy and has completed a post-graduate master’s program in European Studies.
