Who qualifies for a subsidised place?

IPE guarantees a place for two senior executives from pension funds and similar pensions providers that submit an entry or set of entries in the IPE Awards¹

IPE offers subsidised places on a first come first served basis to pension funds and similar pensions providers that do not enter but attend the IPE Conference & Awards (places are limited, so please register early).

What does a subsidised place comprise?

IPE offers free accommodation at one of the official hotels on the evening of Tuesday 28 November 2023 and provides travel management services. 

The travel claims form will be available online only from Thursday, November 30, 2023 and will be available until Friday, January 5, 2024. For further information or to discuss special arrangements about subsidised places, please contact Jucelia Pilatti at jucelia.pilatti@ipe.com

BOOKING YOUR TRAVEL

What we cover
IPE offers travel expenses to a maximum value of €500 per qualifying delegate for flights and trains only to and from the event city. We do not reimburse other travel expenses, such as taxis or public transport at any point during the IPE Conference & Awards or travel by car or other forms of transport.

Train over plane
To reduce yours and our carbon footprint and in support of our sustainability policy, we encourage all delegates living within a 500km radius of the event city to take the train.

When to book your travel
You may book your flight or train at any time after registering. Please try and book early and select the most economical flight or train option. You must use the claims form that will be available from Thursday, November 30, 2023 until Friday, January 5, 2024. We will not consider any claims that are submitted after this date. Your claim will only be processed for reimbursement if the relevant receipts are provided. Bank statement entries and confirmation emails or messages are not valid receipts or proof of purchase.

Vienna has an extensive public transport network and we would encourage you to make use of this while attending the IPE Conference & Awards 2023 reference version. We would encourage you to avoid using taxis for any journey.

To underline our sustainability drive and assist you in your journey to the Hilton Vienna Park, we have a special offer at the CAT train service that runs regularly between Vienna International Airport and central Vienna. This is a 16-minute direct journey. You should get off at Wien Mitte from where the Hilton Vienna Park is no more than 5 minutes by foot through the Wien Mitte shopping mall.
