Andreas Stepnitzka is Deputy Director, Regulatory Policy at European Fund and Asset Management Association (EFAMA). He joined in July 2013 and coordinates EFAMA's advocacy around tax and accounting, distribution and client disclosures and stewardship and ESG. He is an experienced Senior EU Policy Advisor, with a successful history of working in European industry associations in Brussels for almost 10 years, combined with an established network in the EU institutions. He is proficient in political communication and public affairs together with a strong fund industry background. He is an Austrian expat and expert in investor protection and fund distribution issues, such as the MiFID and PRIIPs frameworks.
