Sherena Hussain

Sherena Hussain is an adviser, accomplished lawyer, media personality and leading infrastructure academic with affiliations with York University and the University of Toronto. Hussain is the founder of Academic Collaboration Consulting and CEO of Tecium loT, with extensive experience with scaling infrastructure, real estate and sustainability investment mandates and technology solutions. Much of Hussain's work involves developing and implementing new infrastructure business models, education programs, partnership arrangements, and organisational change to support investable, sustainable infrastructure in Canada and abroad. She is also a champion for diversity and inclusion within the real asset sector. Hussain is at the forefront of connecting capital to bankable projects, serving as the inaugural academic director of the Sustainable Infrastructure Fellowship Program, a first-of-its-kind G7 initiative formed in partnership with the Investor Leadership Network, a consortium of leading institutional investors committed to addressing sustainability and long-term growth.
