Silvia Maria Rovere is Chairwoman at Piste Italiane spa. She has held this position since May 2023. She is a manager with over 25 years of experience in private equity, real estate finance, and asset management, she is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Sensible Capital, an advisory firm specialising in investments in illiquid assets with a strong ESG focus. Between 2003 and 2005, she was Chief Finance Officer of Patrimonio dello Stato S.p.A., contributing to programs aimed at enhancing and privatizing public real estate assets in collaboration with the Ministry of Economy and Finance. She later gained international experience in London as Head of Business Development at Aedes Group and, from 2009 to 2013, served as General Manager of REAM SGR.From 2017 to June 2023, she served as President of Assoimmobiliare, where she promoted innovation initiatives in the sector, including the creation of the RE Innovation Lab and the RE Innovation Academy at SDA Bocconi. At SDA Bocconi, she is also responsible for the Real Estate Asset Management track and the Executive Master of Finance. She has also developed strong expertise in socially responsible finance, launching and managing some of the first social housing funds in Italy. She is actively involved in academic and research activities and has served on several boards in the financial sector. Since May 2023, she has been Chairwoman of Poste Italiane.
