Brad Gries is Global Chief Executive Officer of LaSalle Investment Management. He was previously the Head of Americas and has overall responsibility for all personnel, operational and investment management activities across the region. He was the Co-Chief Investment Officer for LaSalle Americas and chairs the LaSalle Americas Investment Committee, which is responsible for formulating investment strategy for the firm. Gries is an active participant in the firm’s capital raising efforts and is directly involved in the formation and execution of joint ventures and large portfolio transactions. He is also a member of LaSalle’s Global Management Committee. He previously held leadership positions over the course of a 16 year career and was held positions at MB Real Estate and Arthur Andersen as analyst and consultant with the real estate investment arm of DWS, most recently serving as Managing Director, Real Estate Transactions. In this role, he led the acquisition team responsible for new investment initiatives in the Central and Southeastern United States, including investments in all property types and throughout the risk spectrum. Gries has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Illinois.
