Elisabeth Teo-Pennel has over twenty-five years' global real estate investment management and finance experience, developing successful real estate equity and debt investment strategies in Europe, Asia and the Americas. She understands global capital flows and her deep experience in developing trusting relationships with institutional investors within a regulated environment for investments has led to an understanding of best practice corporate governance and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder and investor relationships. Her earlier career was in investment banking and real estate finance.
She previously held the position of Director at ING Real Estate responsible for international funds and institutional clients. Elisabeth believes that responsible real estate investing, incorporating ESG considerations, is important in building successful long term sustainable businesses. She has advised clients in developing impact investment strategies.
As a founder and ex-board member of Real Estate Balance, a not-for-profit organisation leading the campaign to improve gender and ethnic diversity at senior levels in the Real Estate industry, she actively promotes diversity and inclusion within the real estate sector. Teo-Pennel currently holds several advisory and independent board member positions. Prior to this, she was a Managing Director at PGIM Real Estate, where she was responsible for business development and capital raising for global real estate investment products. She is qualified as an Advocate and Solicitor in Singapore.
