Guillermo Tolosa
Special Assistant Director, International Monetary Fund
Guillermo Tolosa is a Special Assistant Director at International Monetary Fund in Europe. He has been with IMF for fifteen years, holding several positions, including managing the IMF representations of the International Monetary Fund in Eastern Europe at the time of large IMF programs in the region. He has also been an Advisor in Oxford Economics and the Chief Executive Officer of CERES, a leading think-tank in Latin America. He was previously an economist, contributing to the design of policies. He is an author of various publications, including in peer-reviewed journals, books and delivers conferences around the world. His work was featured in several articles in Bloomberg, Financial Times, The Times and the Wall Street Journal. Tolosa holds a PhD from University of California, Los Angeles.
