Alexia Giugni is Head of Client Coverage EMA ex DE/AT at DWS International GmbH, Milan Branch. Giugni started her career in 1992 at JP Morgan, where she worked in different coverage roles in Italy, London and New York. She then held the position of head of the Italian Fixed Income Sales team at Salomon Brothers (Citigroup). She has held various roles that have focused on insurance companies in Italy and in Europe, working on investment and risk mitigating solutions according the capital and regulatory needs of the client. Giugni was Head of Insurance solutions for Southern Europe at UBS. She joined DWS as Head of Institutional investors Southern Europe and in 2020 she became Country Head for Italy, the largest market for DWS after Germany. She was then promoted to Head of EMEA-EX Germany and Austria coverage. She is Chairman and board member of DWS International GmBh Italy. Giugni has a BA summa cum laudae from Bocconi University and University of Chicago Graduate School of Business MBA programme Professional.
