Richard Powers
Managing Partner & COO Brookfield Real Estate
Richard Powers is Managing Partner and Chief Operating Officer of European Real Estate Business at Brookfield. He is responsible for expanding the pan-European real estate business and overseeing its operations. He was previously Managing Partner at O-Zone Partners, a Managing member at Grand Street Investments and a Partner in Goldman Sachs’ merchant banking division, where he was co-head of European and US real estate. He also served as head of international real estate at GE Capital. Powers serves as a board member of the Wyeth Foundation for American Art and has served on the governing bodies of several organisations, including the Church Commissioners for England and the German Marshall Fund of the United States. Powers holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Yale University, where he has also taught a seminar for many years.
