Robert-Jan Foortse
Head of European Property Investments, APG
Robert-Jan Foortse is the Head of European Property Investments at APG. Foortse joined APG (then ABP) in December 2002. From 2003-2007 he was responsible for all ABP's real estate investments in the Asia/Pacific region, both listed as well as non-listed. He took the helm of the European property team in 2008. In addition, Foortse is involved in the regional allocation of funds between the US, Europe and Asia/Pacific. Foortse was previously Director of Real Estate Corporate Finance at Arthur Andersen for 10 years, involved in various audit, business consulting and corporate finance engagements for real estate companies. He has over 25 years of experience in real estate. Foortse holds master's degrees in Financial Economics and Real Estate.
