Matt Hershey is Partner at Hodes Weill & Associates. His responsibilities include working with institutional investors on Hodes Weill offerings and transactions and coordinating the firm’s marketing and distribution globally. Hershey has been involved in institutional real estate and real assets investment management for 25 years. His experience spans the major and emerging property types within real estate and other real asset sectors, including infrastructure, energy and natural resources. He has worked with institutional and private wealth investors from North America, Europe and Asia Pacific. From 2006 to 2012, he was a leading member in the team that started and grew Brookfield’s third-party asset management business, ending his tenure as Senior Vice President. Starting in 2000, Hershey joined Tishman Speyer spending six years with the firm. He worked in leasing, acquisitions and ultimately capital markets, assisting in the development of their funds management business as a senior director. He serves on the PREA Institute Committee and is a member of INREV.
