Martin Haran
Professor of Real Estate and Urban Studies, Ulster University
Martin Haran is a Professor of Real Estate and Urban Studies at Ulster University. His competencies include real estate finance, property investment and development, housing market analysis, infrastructure investment and the decarbonisation of the built environment. Haran has led over 80 commissioned research projects from a diverse range of prestigious funding bodies including the European Commission, the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), the European Public Real Estate Association (EPRA), the Investment Property Forum (IPF) and pension funds and government authorities across Europe. He has authored more than 50 peer reviewed journal publications, book chapters and industry reports on real estate and infrastructure investment. He holds a first class degree with honours in Business and Finance and a PhD in Urban Regeneration and Property Investment.
