Robert-Jan Foortse is the Head of European Property Investments at APG. He joined APG (then ABP) in December 2002. From 2003-2007 he was responsible for all ABP's real estate investments in the Asia/Pacific region, both listed as well as non-listed. Foortse took the helm of the European property team in 2008. In addition, he is involved in the regional allocation of funds between the US, Europe and Asia/Pacific. He has over 25 years of experience in real estate. Before Foortse joined ABP in December 2002, he was Director of Real Estate Corporate Finance at Arthur Andersen. During 10 years at Arthur Andersen he was involved in various audit, business consulting and corporate finance engagements for real estate companies. Foortse holds Master's degrees in Financial Economics and Real Estate.
