Rushabh Desai is Chief Executive Officer - Asia Pacific at Allianz Real Estate GmbH Singapore. He is also a member of the Allianz Real Estate investment and executive committees. Desai’s focus in expanding Allianz Real Estate’s Asia Pacific business is on fund investments, club deals, joint ventures, senior lending and direct investments across markets such as China, India, South East Asia, Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea, Australia and Japan. Desai joined Allianz Real Estate in 2016. Prior to that he gained 13 years of diverse global experience, mainly at General Electric Company in increasingly important leadership and management positions. As Head of Strategy & Planning, Chief Financial Officer and Head of Business Development at GE Capital Real Estate Asia-Pacific, he led over USD10bn in transactions across a range of equity and debt assets and across all major markets in the region. Desai graduated from St. Xavier’s College in Kolkata and completed an MBA from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies in Mumbai.
