Nathalie Charles is Deputy Chief Executive Officer of BNP Paribas Real Estate in charge of investment management. She started her career as a real estate lender at Compagnie Bancaire, then at Natixis. In 1996, she joined the Unibail-Rodamco Group, where she held various senior positions overseeing office, retail and large development projects in the Paris region. In 2008, she joined the EDF Group as Managing Director of corporate real estate, where she led the asset, property and facility management activities. Charles joined AXA IM–Real Assets in 2013, becoming Head of Development and European Country Teams in 2018. She was appointed Deputy Chief Executive Officer of BNP Paribas Real Estate in July 2019. Charles has over 30 years’ experience in the real estate industry and graduated from the French École Polytechnique. In 2011, she was awarded the French distinction Légion d’Honneur and was appointed as the Chair of Urban Land Institute (ULI) France in 2018.
