Peter Kraneveld

With an interest in pension system design and pension fund governance, Peter Kraneveld is an international pensions consultant at and founder of Prime BV. He deals specifically with private pension policy affairs relating to the European Union, the OECD and the World Bank. Kraneveld was previously at Dutch pensions asset manager, PGGM, where he served as public affairs officer and, before that, chief economist, covering long-term and short term macro-economic expectations and their consequences for financial markets. Prior to that, he worked at the OECD in Paris for 15 years on economic and financial matters, notably export financing, export insurance and development economics. His first regular job was with the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs, where he was Japan desk officer and liaised with specialised international organisations. Kraneveld studied economics and law at the University of Amsterdam.
