David Hourihan

David Hourihan is Programme Leader, MSc Real Estate at University College of Estate Management (UCEM), a leading provider of supported online learning for the built environment, where he is the module leader for various bachelor’s and master’s real estate programmes. Hourihan is also a fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland (SCSI) and the Higher Education Academy (HEA) and a member of the Investment Property Forum Research Steering Group and a contributor/trainer at Bayfield Training on executive short commercial property investment webinars and courses. He is also an Assessment of Professional Competency (APC) Chairman with the RICS. He has over fifteen years of commercial real estate experience in both Ireland and the United Kingdom and has worked with several leading real estate firms such as JLL and Colliers International. His clients have included Société Générale, Metzler Bank, Mobile Oil, Aviva, British Land and Scottish Widows. Hourihan gained an MSc in Property Investment (with Merit) from the University of Reading and joined UCEM in 2011 as a full time academic.
