Tony Brown became Head of M&G Real Estate in April 2018 after four years as Chief Investment Officer. He has over 28 years’ real estate investment experience across the UK, Continental Europe, North America and Asia. Prior to joining M&G Real Estate in 2014, he was managing director of Lend Lease Investment Management, EMEA, where he oversaw a business managing £4.5 bn of real estate and infrastructure funds. Prior to that, he spent 14 years at Schroder Investment Management, latterly as fund director, where he managed the Schroder Exempt Property Unit Trust, with investment in circa £10bn of assets. Brown started his career with Cushman and Wakefield as a graduate surveyor where he qualified as a Chartered Surveyor (MRICS).
