Maurizio Grilli is Head of Investment Management Analysis and Strategy at BNP Paribas Real Estate. His principal role is to identify opportunities in European property markets and to formulate strategies for BNP Paribas REIM investors. Grilli has been involved in real estate since 2000 and has worked on different subjects including portfolio and risk analysis, forecasting and investment strategy advice. He has an international background and, prior to his current appointment, was at Grosvenor, Cordea Savills and Property Market Analysis. Grilli is also active in a number of international associations, including INREV, ULI, the Investment Property Forum and ICSC. He is a regular contributor to industry publications and is giving lectures at Reading University, Genoa University and Luiss University in Rome. His academic background is in economics and finance. He holds an MSc in economics from the University of London and a BSc (Hons) in political science from Genoa University.
