Kevin Schwartz is the CEO and Managing Partner of Paine Schwartz Partners, where he has led the firm's transformation into a leading investment firm focused on the food and agribusiness sector. He began his career at Goldman Sachs in the late 1990s, working on mergers, acquisitions, and corporate financings. He then transitioned to private equity, holding roles at Fremont Partners and American Industrial Partners before joining Paine Schwartz’s predecessor in 2001. Kevin spearheaded the firm’s entry into agribusiness by leading investments in technology-driven seed companies like Seminis and Advanta. Over the years, he has built a sector-focused investment strategy emphasizing proprietary research, thesis-driven investing, and operational excellence, establishing Paine Schwartz as a leader in sustainable food chain investing.
