Robert Hartog is a Managing Director at Blue Owl. In addition, he is a member of the Real Estate Digital Infrastructure Investment Team and a senior member of the Blue Owl Digital Infrastructure team. In his role, he leads the acquisition and investment management activities in the EMEA region. Harthog is a Director on the STACK global and regional Boards of Directors. He started his career in the M&A practice at Allen & Overy, advising clients on corporate law, mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, LBOs, and MBOs, with a focus on private equity and venture capital. He was a Senior Director and the Head of Communication Infrastructure Investments at PGGM, where he was responsible for origination, execution, business development, and asset management for the firm’s infrastructure fund globally. He was Managing Director and Head of EMEA at IPI Partners. Hartog originally trained as an M&A lawyer and earned a post graduate certificate from the corporate law program at the University of Nijmegen, the Netherlands, and a masters with a focus on corporate law and intellectual property law from the University of Utrecht.
