Cody Dahl is Vice President at AgIS Capital LLC. He is responsible for acquisitions and private equity investing. He also researches agriculture markets to develop investment theses and devises and implements investment strategies. Having researched an extensive number of commodities and supply chains throughout his career, he has an exceptional knowledge and understanding of how the global economy impacts local agriculture investments. Dahl’s background also provides him with a unique ability to identify perverse incentives throughout supply chains, which is essential to mitigating risk and aligning interests. He previously worked for the Hancock Agricultural Investment Group where he led their research function. He holds a BS in Agribusiness, Farm and Financial Management from the University of Illinois and a MS and PhD in Food and Resource Economics from the University of Florida.
