Matthias Hünlein joined Tishman Speyer in 2005 and is responsible for client relationships and capital raising activities in Europe, with a focus on Germany, Switzerland, Austria, and Scandinavia. Prior to joining Tishman Speyer, he was a managing director with DB Real Estate, an investment subsidiary of Deutsche Bank, where he was responsible for product development and relationship management for German institutional clients. During his time with DB Real Estate, Matthias played an important role in the formation of Germany’s first large-scale listed residential company, which currently manages approximately 145,000 residential units. A lawyer by training, he worked within the legal department at Deutsche Bank before transitioning to the business side. Matthias earned a law degree from the University of Passau and holds the title of Assessor of Law.
