Edward Jackson is Head of United Kingdom Direct Real Estate platform at Pictet Asset Management. He has been responsible for c 600€m deployment of Gross Asset Value for Elevation I and two side-car transactions. He has built up the portfolio of over 40 last-mile industrial properties in key regional United Kingdom hubs, three office buildings in Manchester and a portfolio of c 360 new, energy efficient and well-located residential apartments in Central London. He has also been responsible for Elevation I’s first exit, a 240,000sqft logistics warehouse in Crawley, South London. Jackson was previously in the Real Estate Investment Banking team at Bank of America Merrill Lynch where he had eight years ‘experience advising REITs and private equity sponsors on M&A and debt and equity capital raising. He had a key role originating, evaluating and executing transactions across all real estate asset classes in most major European jurisdictions. Prior to BofAML, he trained and qualified as a corporate lawyer at Clifford Chance and worked at Taylor Wessing and Weil Gotshal. He was a lawyer for 8 years and he worked in London, Tokyo and New York. Jackson holds an LLB degree in Laws from University College London and an MBA from INSEAD, where he was an IFS/Henry Grunfeld Scholar.
