David Lee
Associate, Infrastructure Team, Columbia Threadneedle Investments

David Lee is Associate in the infrastructure team at Columbia Threadneedle Investments. His role involves assessing early-stage investment opportunities from both a qualitative and quantitative perspective, as well as providing general day to day support to the team in the development of investment committee papers and execution of new acquisitions. Additionally, he supports the management of existing assets within the fund’s portfolio, helping to optimise financial and operational performance. He also contributes to the fundraising function within the fund by contributing to the development of marketing materials and conducting in-person interaction with potential clients. Prior to joining the company, Lee worked for DZ Bank in their project finance team, where he supported the origination and execution of renewable and conventional transactions across Europe and the Middle East. Previously, he worked for Fitch Group advising a variety of clients on industry trends and market risk within the infrastructure space. Lee received an MSc in Energy Management from ESCP Europe, having studied at the university’s London and Paris campuses. For his undergraduate degree, he studied International Relations at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
