Cody Dahl is Vice President – Acquisitions and Strategy at AgIS Capital LLC. He is responsible for acquisitions and private equity investing. He also researches agriculture markets to develop investment theses and devises and implements investment strategies. Having researched an extensive number of commodities and supply chains throughout his career, Dahl has an exceptional understanding of how the global economy impacts local agriculture investments. His background also provides him with a unique ability to identify perverse incentives throughout supply chains, which is essential to mitigating risk and aligning interests. He previously worked for the Hancock Agricultural Investment Group, where he led their research function. Dahl holds a BS in Agribusiness, Farm, and Financial Management from the University of Illinois and an MS and PhD in Food and Resource Economics from the University of Florida.
