Matt Hershey is the founder of Grid 3, established in January 2026, and has 25 years’ experience at the intersection of institutional capital markets and real asset management. His career spans three leading firms in institutional real assets: Tishman Speyer, where he led private wealth distribution and transitioned the business into institutional investment management; Brookfield Asset Management, where he worked across infrastructure and real estate; and Hodes Weill & Associates, where he became Partner and Head of Global Distribution and EMEA. Hershey has raised more than $7 billion and has built and managed teams, sourced and led transactions, and worked with managers and investors globally. He has worked across New York, Denver and Amsterdam.
