Igor Lukin is a Managing Director at Allianz Global Investors (AGI) in the direct equity infrastructure investment team in Munich, Germany. He joined Allianz in 2012 and has worked on multiple infrastructure transactions in the energy, telecommunication and transport sectors across various geographies. Currently his focus is on development of infrastructure investment opportunities in the area of energy transition including green hydrogen and other de-carbonisation technologies. He led and is responsible for AGI’s first two direct investments in the sector: Finnish green power-to-gas developer Ren-Gas and Norwegian green ammonia project developer FUELLA. He is currently representing AGI on the boards of a fiber roll-out company Unsere Grüne Glasfaser in Germany, motorway service area operator Tank & Rast in Germany and Czech gas distribution network GasNet. He previously worked at Oil & Gas financing and advisory team at UniCredit in Munich and New York. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Computer Science from Technical University of Darmstadt and is a CFA Charterholder.
