Matteo Colombo is Managing Director – Real Assets Investments at Legal & General Group (L&G), where he leads the investments in digital infrastructure opportunities. He sits on the Board of the European co-location data centre platform Kao Data and the Board of IXDS, a data centre development company with a London hyperscale development. He joined L&G’s principal investment division in 2015 and has led investments across a number of sectors spanning real assets and alternative finance, including private credit and venture capital. He was an Investment Director at Terra Firma, a global infrastructure private equity firm, where he was an investment director working on asset backed investments including telecoms, media and technology, operational real estate and infrastructure. He previously worked for four years at Morgan Stanley. Colombo is an Engineering graduate from Cambridge. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
