MaryKate Bullen is Managing Director, Head of Business Development & Sustainability at Forest Investment Associates, (FIA). FIA is a US-headquartered investment firm specialising in sustainable forestry investment with more than 5$bn in AUM across 2+ million acres in the Americas. She is responsible for overseeing capital raising, product development, institutional market engagement, strategic communications and FIA’s ESG and impact programs. She is a member of FIA’s Executive and Investment Committees and Chair of the ESG Committee. Bullen has had over 16 years in forest investment and conservation finance and her career has focused on sustainable investment in forestry, carbon markets and conservation spanning investments in North America, Latin America, Australasia and Southeast Asia. She actively participates in industry developments, including carbon accounting and impact measurement and holds advisory and working group roles, such as with Verra and the Women’s Forest Congress.
