Jeffrey Altman is a Senior Advisor at Finadvice AG, one of the leading sustainable energy and technology advisors in Continental Europe. He advises utilities, institutional investors, funds, industry associations, regulators and technology companies in Europe, North America and Asia. He has over 30 years’ experience of global sustainable/impact leadership with acquisitions divestitures, asset investment management in energy, sustainable energy, infrastructure, telecoms, energytech, infratech and agtech and has collectively contributed more than 1.4$b in value. Altman has previously worked at 3 varying funds, venture capital, private equity and infrastructure. He was CEO of a hydrogen company, Interim CEO to 2 portfolio companies and board member at several companies, including a 320£m electric distribution company. He also successfully co-managed 600€m portfolio for 12 German and Russian companies. Altman is a recognised thought leader on energy transition and has published several articles and papers on the subject. He is also editor of two books: Managing Risk in Infrastructure Investments and Best Practice in Infrastructure Asset Management. He has a Master’s of Business Administration from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science from the School of Foreign Service, Georgetown.
