Katherine Laurensen is Head of Alternatives Distribution EMEA for Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM). She joined business in 2008 as dedicated legal counsel before becoming General Counsel for Real Assets and joining the Real Assets board in 2014 as General Counsel and the Director of Client Solutions. Laurensen has been responsible for advising on and understanding all aspects of fund and product development from both the client investor and investments perspective as well as the legal, financial, tax and regulatory matters relating to the Real Assets investment activity into Real Estate, Infrastructure and Private Credit within LGIM. She previously had roles as in-house counsel and in private practice both in London and New Zealand.
