Net Zero Fossil Fuel Fellow, University of Oxford
Stuart Jenkins is Net Zero Fossil Fuel Fellow at University of Oxford. He is a researcher at Oxford Net Zero. He has keen interests in design, implementation strategy and appraisal of net zero policy, focussing on the requirements of typically hard-to-abate sectors (fossil fuel extraction, the aviation sector, steel and cement production etc.). Jenkins is an extended producer responsibility for fossil fuels and policies to support it (e.g. Carbon Takeback Obligation), global and large-scale regional climate policy, including cost-optimal mitigation policy using a mixture of supply and demand-side measures. His background and interests include the level and rate of anthropogenic global warming, contributions from individual pollutants, sectors and nations.
