Surinder Toor Is Managing Partner at Arjun Infrastructure. He founded Arjun Infrastructure in 2015 and today it manages €5.3bn of capital in the core and core+ European mid-market infrastructure sectors. He started his career as a consultant in Arthur Andersen’s Energy & Utility practice. Previously he was Managing Director of American Electric Power’s (AEP) European operations. AEP’s European presence consisted of 4,400MW of power generation capacity in the UK, regulated electricity networks and commodity trading activities. He was Chief Financial Officer of Scotia Gas Networks, the £5bn joint venture between Scottish and Southern Energy plc, Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan and Borealis Infrastructure. Toor was formerly the Head of Europe for JP Morgan Asset Management’s Infrastructure Investment Group where he was responsible globally for the existing portfolio of investments, including regulated utilities, power generation and transportation assets. Toor holds a master’s degree in engineering, economics & management from St John’s College, University of Oxford.
