Janwillem Bouma was appointed chairman of the Centraal Beheer Algemeen Pensioenfonds in November 2019. He has been Chair of PensionsEurope since November 2015, having joined the board in April 2015 as a member. He has also sat on the board of the Federation of Dutch Pension Funds since 2014, is Chairman of the board of trustees of Stichting Pensioenfonds Hoogovens and Chairman of the supervisory board of the ANWB Pension Fund. Bouma was a member of the Occupational Pensions Stakeholder Group (OPSG) of EIOPA between March 2015 until September 2018. He worked at Royal Dutch Shell until September 2018.
