Gerard Riemen

Gerard Riemen is Director and Managing Director of the Dutch Federation of Pension Funds, the representative organization of all associated pension funds in the Netherlands. He assumed this role in November 2010. Riemen graduated in social security sciences in 1988 and in economics in 1989 at Tilburg University. He spent 17 years at the Dutch Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment in different functions. His last position was Director of the Directorate of Implementation Policy. In 2008 he joined the Association of Industry-wide Pension Funds (VB). Between June 2013 and June 2015 he was Chairman of the European Association of Paritarian Institutions (AEIP).
