Stefan Nellshen is the Chief Executive Officer at Bayer-Pensionskasse VVaG. He previously worked in the life-insurance-industry. Nellshen joined Bayer in 1998 working in several finance-functions. He became Chief Financial Officer in 2003 and in January 2017 additional position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of all German pension institutions related to Bayer, especially Bayer-Pensionskasse VVaG. He is responsible for all financial results, risks and status of Bayer’s pension plans world-wide, providing for some kind of minimum guaranteed benefits (Assets under Management: ca. 27 billion EUR). Nellshen studied mathematics (including actuarial science) and economics at University of Cologne, Germany. He received his PhD in mathematics in 1994 at the University of Cologne
