Annu Nieminen is the Founder and CEO of Upright, a Helsinki-based technology company building a new type of quantification model to measure the net impact of companies. Upright aims to increase understanding of the net value creation of investments with a mathematical model that estimates both the positive and negative impacts companies have on the environment, economy, health of people, society and knowledge creation. Upright's current user base consists of 140+ asset owners, asset managers and corporations, as well as public sector organisations. Prior to founding Upright, Nieminen worked as CEO of Finnish midcap growth initiative Kasvuryhma and consultant at McKinsey & Company.
